MMHIGHLIGHTS TEAMS UP WITH E.L.F. COSMETICS

New York, August 10, 2009 – MMHighlights is pleased to announce its partnership with beauty company, Eyes, Lips, Face (e.l.f.) Cosmetics. Catering to an audience of the young and beautiful, MMHighlights is certain that this partnership will not only benefit both companies, but the public as well, making it possible for MMH readers to purchase e.l.f. products on the MMH site, while also seeing the products
being used on MMH models.

The relationship between e.l.f. cosmetics and MMHighlights began this past spring, during which e.l.f. was a product sponsor for MMH: À La Mode – Runway and Trunk Show. As a sponsor, e.l.f. provided a
raffle giveaway, as well as product for the models. In a short time, this relationship has grown, with e.l.f. being the title sponsor for the MMH Style Lounge (Fall 2009) and the make-up provider for MMH photo shoots. Both e.l.f. and MMHighlights believe in partnerships, therefore this new alliance can prove to be beneficial to both parties.

Although a relatively new site, and brand, MMHighlights has received over 100,000 hits and 2,000 subscribers. The new e.l.f. cosmetics/MMHighlights partnership will not only aid in expanding the
MMHighlights name, it will also build increasing interest in the e.l.f. brand. Site visitors will be able to purchase e.l.f. products by clicking on the advertising banner (sidebar). The MMHighlights reader parallels the e.l.f. consumer – confident, attractive, innovative, and efficient – therefore the two brands will be able to capitalize on their web popularity, to attract their target audience. According to MMH In-House Stylist, Christine Brooks, “after people see our models wearing e.l.f. cosmetics, they’ll be
running to the e.l.f. website!”

The advertising options have also changed; potential advertisers can purchase 125 x 125px buttons along the sides of the page, giving viewers an opportunity to visit their sites and learn more about their services/products.

interviews, to name a few. This eclectic selection has solidified MMHighlights as a relevant voice in society and entertainment, while earning it a place amongst other notable blog sites. This same
compartmentalization is part of the formula behind the MMH Magazine. The new layout is simple, stylish, and sleek — informative yet eye-catching. The new site will provide easy access to your daily

MMH: A La Mode will raise support and awareness for the respective causes of the Harlem 40 Youth Program and the New York Affiliate of Dress for Success. The show will feature independent street wear designers, who embody the same fashion “chops” as mainstream fashion houses, an eclectic mix of aspiring male and female models, and young performers who will entertain the audience with their mind‐blowing vocals and choreography.

The Harlem 40 Mentoring Program provides middle and high school students with the support and opportunities they need to succeed in high‐school and prepare for college. These youth have faced struggles with academic, behavioral, and/or emotional difficulties and their participation in the program sets them on a new course for positive youth development, enabling them to maximize their personal potential. The program also strives to re‐engineer Harlem, spreading the message that “everyone can go to college”.

Dress for Success aims to promote economic independence amongst disadvantaged women trying to enter the workforce, by providing then with professional attire, as well as career development tools to help them succeed. These women are also given a support network that help in boosting their confidence, while securing employment for them.

We are very pleased to announce that MMHighlights will be adding a brand new element to its repertoire: the MMH Digital Magazine. The tri-annual publication is slated to launch Spring 2009. The MMH Magazine aims to focus on aspiring and underrepresented talent within various industries; however its premiere issue will focus on all things related to MMH: A La Mode, the Runway and Trunk Show presented by MMHighlights & its affiliates.

MMH: À La Mode is slated to take place Wednesday, April 29th, 2009 in The Great Hall of the City College of New York. It will feature independent street wear designers, who although their talent equals or surpasses that of many mainstream fashion houses, have yet to, or have been unable to, attain the acclaim and respect their work warrants; young aspiring male and female models, who, for a myriad of reasons, are unable to break into the industry to realize their full modeling potential; and lastly, a group of young performers who will entertain the audience with their vocals and choreography.

We are currently looking for participants for the runway/trunk show. This includes but is not limited to: sponsors, trunk show vendors, hair stylist(s), make-up artist(s), photographer(s), accessory coordinator, master of ceremonies, wardrobe coordinator, production crew, fashion designers, male & female models, videographer(s), DJs & live performers.
